Isobel

Happy Easter everyone!
This is another recent piece. It's actually very small. The story behind it is basically this, I was just chilling to some Bjork and trying to get my creative juices flowing and I just found this in one of the songs, hence the title, Isobel. I wanted the colors to be really deep and expressive. The black sort of framing was an afterthought, and really now, I kind of regret it.

Moss

Hey everyone! Happy April!
This isn't too old. I started with a pencil sketch of it a couple months ago and slowly began coloring it with Prismacolor colored pencils. I wanted this to be more realistic looking compared to my other mermaids, but with the same basic concept. Anyway, I titled it Moss after the colors I used in it.

Gave Me Feathers

This is something I worked on with long breaks all throughout last week. It doesn't really have a meaning, but it was inspired by a discussion in one of my classes. If you were to ask me what the discussion was, I wouldn't be able to tell you because I can't even remember what it was about. Anyway, this is a bit of a different drawing for me, I feel.
Drawn out in pencil and painted in Winsor & Newton watercolours on about a 9" x 6" paper.

The Narcissist

It's a loooovely Sunday afternoooon.
Yes, you should have sang that.
Anyway, I did this one a while ago. It's one of my most popular ones. It's a peacock! Because, well, peacocks are awesome.
I doodled it in pencil, because really it was just going to be a doodle. And then later colored it in Prismacolour colored pencils. Lastly, I outlined it in drawing pens.
It will be on sale around the same time as the cats, because I need to figure out its measurements too and I'm lazily procrastinating that again.

Basil Rathbone

Happy Wednesday everyone!
So I drew this not too long ago. Basil Rathbone as Sherlock Holmes.
Drawn in pencil on about a 5" x 9" piece of paper.

Harlequinn

Woohoo for Fridays!
So... This is a drawing inspired by clowns, obviously. My first time bothering with Crayola markers. I'd say not too bad of a thing to use for drawing...

Swimming in the Colors

Another one of my first acrylic paintings. One thing you should know about me, is that I absolutely love to splatter and make a mess when I'm painting something. I just get so excited when all of the colors start to come together or something. It's weird. The fish was finger-painted and the rest was pretty much just splattered.
Done in acrylics.
