Boy

This started with a sort of minimalist sketch. Like I said before, I've been trying a lot of different styles and adding more detail and emotion to each full-length illustration. This was a fun picture because I really wanted to get the colors as close to what was in my head as was possible.

Anna's Album: My Work-Art Pieces

These are the things I drew for my friend, Anna's new album. She asked me to draw them and I was super excited to get started. I didn't have any music to go off of, so I just thought of things that Anna had talked about in the past and thought about things that seemed to represent those ideas. It was a lot of fun for me and I am pretty pleased with the work that I came up with. She has the originals now and her album is fantastic. If you want to give the songs a listen and maybe download them, you can find them all on her site: http://myworkalbum.blogspot.com/
Her link is also on my sidebar too. I feel pretty awesome that I was asked to be a part of this great music!

People and Places

Pencil drawings, plain and simple. Just when I started getting more adventurous with backgrounds. Most of these are just people I came up with in my head, except for the bottom one, that's Will Graham from Hannibal. I gave the top one to my friend.
I think I might start posting just pretty pictures one day of the week or something.

I'm Back... in Greens?

Hi everyone, that is, if anyone is still reading this blog. It's been ages. I'll be posting old art, but I'll color coordinate the posts for fun.
The first one is a Game of Thrones inspired piece called "The Wall", the next is just something I drew on the back of my notebook, after that one, we have a triangle page, and lastly, we have "Tropics".
All of these are done in mixed media, generally using colored pencil and marker. Except for the triangle paper, that one was just marker.

But how have you been? Good? Hopefully so.
